When you face challenges in life it’s useful to have a wide toolbox to help you. Art and creative expression provide an easy-to-use set of tools to explore issues. And you may even have fun using them, which in itself can help you overcome adversity.
There is no need to have any previous experience of using the arts to attend but a curiosity to explore and a willingness to try something new is welcomed.
We will discuss the power of art and creative expression and how it helps us to get to know ourselves. We will do ‘a taster’ of one/ two short exercises where you will be invited to engage in an activity, draw/ write and share your experience. You will learn how creative expression can help to heal anxiety, stress, low self- esteem, relational problems, loss and many more issues.
Increased awareness by using the arts, that can lead to the potential to change.
